The journey of Sai Mitr began in the year 2008 in the holy land of Maa Kali…Kolkata, with a simple yet Important objective to spread the teachings and leelas of our beloved and benevolent Sadguru – Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. Initially, there were a handful of 3-4 devotees who started by taking up Sai Bhajan program in the homes of Sai devotees in Kolkata. Then Sai Mitr started engagement with Nag Sai Mandir, Mallickur, WB, in their various weekly/annual functions through Bhajans and conducting of the events.

In the next phase of growth, Sai Mitr initiated its first Shirdi Pilgrimage program for the devotees of Kolkata in 2008 which was well received and is an annual program. The year 2009 gave birth to the first ever Sai Milan program. With an objective of connecting our soul with the Supreme Lord Sainath and giving the devotees a feel of having spent a day in Shirdi, the program was laid to capture all activities run by the main temple at Shirdi. Sai Mitr has completed 10 years of this annual program. Since this concept found liking among many people, we have also had the blessings of Baba to conduct “Sai Milan” program for other organizations upon request.

Inspired to Baba’s teachings to serve the needy and also in the wake of Baba’s centenary Mahasamadhi year, Sai Mitr has made a humble beginning of doing Seva along with at various charitable institutions which has received great support from all Sai devotees.
